The Lakewood Club boasts 36 holes steeped in history and natural beauty. Established in 1944, this distinguished resort is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Renowned designer Perry Maxwell, known for his work at the Tulsa Southern Hills Country Club—host of the 2001 U.S. Open—crafted the original Dogwood Course that debuted in 1947 as one of south Alabama's first professional-quality golf venues.
